Methods of animation- Drawing and scratching on film

To tell the truth, I really have fun with this primitive method for making animation. Although these days it is hard to see the outcome of your work because you need a movie projector to see the result if you can find one. I suggest you to try this method.

For this you need to get a blank film stock, I mean a developed one. Then you just need to draw the story you have in your mind. The drawings are almost simple and linear. For example draw a car which you want it to move from left to right. Begin drawing from your very right side of your car in left side of the first frame of film stock. Then continue in next frames as if your car is moving. Continue to the very end of right side of the frame till your car exits the frame.

Now you have a simple animation.
